My 3 year old cut his canines first - top and bottom. Boy, he looked funny for awhile until the others came in. I was at the dentist one day for a check-up for me. I asked the dentist to look at him. She said it sometimes happens that way. So, dont worry, it does happen. P.S. He would cut 2-4 teeth at a time. Kinda cranky!!
Reply:Well, ma'am, you've got yourself a baby vampire, lol.

Just kidding, there's nothing abnormal about it.
Reply:"Usually" they do...whatever usually is. Don't worry about it his two front ones will probably start cutting any day!
Reply:It is "normal" to cut the bottom front two first, but they can come up in any order. It is called cross cutting - My son did the same thing when he was a baby and he has perfect teeth now that they are all through. Don't worry about it it's not a big deal!!!!
Reply:My son cut both his front bottom teeth at the same time. My daughter cut her upper right canine first. Doesnt matter what order they come in as long as they are coming in
Reply:QUITE NORMAL, MY DAUGHTER CUT A MOLAR FIRST
Reply:each of us are individualist. the baby is fine with these teeth first mine were the first too. dont know if that has anything to do with teeth heath but I have a very heathy mouth full of teeth now for 46 years
Reply:Well.. the law of averages says yes, they're supposed to cut the front bottom teeth first... But my brother's first tooth came in at the top of the roof of his mouth.... Not to worry, it moved into place and he's always had great teeth... Didn't even need braces!
