I am 32 years old. I still have my canine milk-tooth. It is shaking lightly when proded. Do I ignore it?

Is it ok to let it stay and wait for it to fall off by itself?

It is not terribly uncommon for adults to still maintain one or more of their baby teeth. This could be because the adult tooth never developed to push the baby tooth out and replace it or it could be that the adult tooth is impacted below the gums. Definitely don't ignore the problem... get in to see your dentist as soon as possible for an exam so he or she can recommend the necessary treatment to you.
Reply:you should go to the dentist and have him rip it out e-mail me
Reply:There is a possibility that your permanent canines are impacted or congenitally missing. I would consult with your Dentist to see how to replace the gap when the babytooth finally falls off.
Reply:That's a good question for a professional, I'd think. Ask a dentist.

It would be impossible to answer without taking x-rays to find out what happened to the permanent tooth that was supposed to replace it.
Reply:IT'S OK BUT I WOULD GET IT PULLED
Reply:Whether its an old baby tooth that just got pushed up and out when the adult tooth grew in, or if the adult tooth never grew in, it can still have decay to it. you should find a dentist that you are comfortable talking to and have him look at it. Good Luck...
