6 month cat - problems with adult teeth coming in.?

Our cat is about 6 months old.... I was just looking in his mouth, and it looks like his adult canines have come in, but his baby canines are still there too! It's almost like the 2 teeth are sharing the same 'hole' in his gums. I touched it, and the baby canine doesn't even seem loose! Should I give it some time and see if it falls out on its own, or is this something I should take him to the vet for ASAP... Oh and it's the same way on both sides of his mouth.

It is not uncommon for kittens to get two rows of teeth when the baby teeth are being replaced with the adult ones. They will very likely fall out on their own. Until then, you can check them on a regular basis and wiggle the tooth a little (the same way that kids do). Signs of infection would be soreness, redness, swelling of the gum, bad breath, and not eating. Unless one or more of those occur, I would let nature take its course.
Reply:you should wait and see about a week or less if it doesn't fall out by then , then you should take it to the vet ASAP. Good Luck!
Reply:He will have to go to the vet and they will put him under general anesthesia to pull those extra canine teeth.
Reply:They will fall out eventually. I was worried the same about my late kittens teeth but they came out. I wanted to save some :D

If you are going to get him neutered, which at this time is a perfect time, you can ask them to extract the teeths for you at the same time, but I wouldn't worry.
