without being "knocked" out?
Could you have 4 molars and 2 canines and 2 frnt teeth pulled at once?
Well talk to your dentist. maybe he/she is planning to do so. (or the person who is going to do the rest of the operation.) After you pulled out 8 tooth you may have problems swallowing food or talking in the healing period.) But don't worry in every situation (in your situation it is a must actually) The treatment Plan will show him/her the way. (what kind of denture will be done or maybe implants etc. the way of treatment will sometimes differs the pulling out period. He'll decide according to your needs don't forget that.
the Knocked out part I've just seen will depend on how tough you are. There is something called "local anesthesia" you know.
Reply:wassamatta, you dint pay off da loan?
Reply:yes i had 9 pulled
Reply:You could.....by WHY? 8 teeth at once? I sure wouldn't do it. They would have to knock me out with IV anesthesia for even 1 tooth.
Reply:I can't. You would have to knock me out or at least send me to twilight land. It seems that with all that going on they would need some sutures in the gums.
Reply:only if u get hit by a truck..or truck driver:)))))
Reply:welllllllll.........you can but I wouldn't recommend it. You will be really uncomfortable after the fact as well. I think i would do the "left side" and then the "right side" that way you always have a side to chew on. My daughter just got two molars pulled and has one more to come out and thats the way they did her.
Good luck to you
Reply:Yes you can have 8 teeth pulled at once, especially if they are on either top or lower jaw. I had 12 pulled at once. You will be
on anesthesia: plus sutures will be needed. Your mouth/jaw will be deadened for the procedure.
wish you the best.
Reply:Yes you can have them removed in one visit. You may or may not have soreness some people do, some don't. I would take IV sedation. If all removed at same time will heal all the same time. Sedation would be faster not waiting for the numbing to take place.
Reply:Oh dear, eight at one time,i wouldn't try it,except i really want my head to blow off.
Reply:This is a question that cannot be answered online.
The reason is, especailly since you said you were in an accident and some are broken, your dentist will have to look at your teeth and a full mouth x-ray to determine the answer to your question.
I'm sure you've been to a dentist, right??
Call him and ask him to look at your x-ray and see if he can do them all at once or if he needs to start w/ one side and go around. Perhaps you could request an oral surgeon. But they will put you to sleep.
If you haven't been to a dentist, go!
Like I said, we can't answer your question. There's so much more to it than you understand.
Good luck!!
Happy Holidays!
Reply:You're really going to need to be "knocked" out to do something like that. Most people can barely stand getting fillings done with novacaine alone. What you're asking is pretty much surgery for a dentist, you may even need to see an oral surgeon to do the procedure with all of the suturing that will be required.
Reply:yes you can, its not very pleasent as you would be numb all the way round and dribble blood about but its possible to have all your teeth removed just not very ethical!
