Gaps in small teeth?

when i was small i had an accident and i damaged my teeth and gums as a child, now my adult teeth all my are slightly smaller than they should be and there are gaps between most teeth especially the canines. I was told that braces would not help my problem but i would like to find a way that i could have a nice healthy smile. Money not really the problem as i would really want help.

Gaps in small teeth?
Gaps in the teeth are not normally the result of an accident unless you actually lost teeth. The size that teeth grow is genetically predisposed and if you have small teeth and large jaws, you will have gaps between them. The question, really, is just how big are those gaps and how large are your jaws?

Have you seen an orthodontist? He would take measurements to determine if there is adequate spacing in the relationship between both jaws and facial harmony to close the spaces. Most times you can end up with a more aesthetically pleasing result. Sometimes, the result is accomplished with a combination of orthodontics and bonding or veneers to finish up closing minor gaps or just one of these methods is required. A good orthodontist can provide you with a proper assessment and present your options.
