I need professional advice about my teeth dilemma?

i'm turning 19 this month and i still have deciduous canines (milk teeth). i had it x rayed and the dentist said that i didn't have permanent teeth to replace my canines. both my canines are still milk teeth. the dentist said that i would'nt grow canines anymore.

my problem is i want perfect set of teeth but i cant have it because the small canines look small compared to my other teeth.

Your dentist should be able to help, even if its caps on your canines or something. I had a couple of milk teeth like you with no adult ones. I had them removed and my denitist used braces to pull the other teeth into there place. They look fine and my I am sure there must be something that can be done for you too, go along and ask x
Reply:get them capped :) they just mold porcelain over your small teeth to make them look bigger. its quick but pricey
Reply:Perhaps you should ask the dentist that you go to to recommend some options?!!?!?

Regardless, you can probably get caps or porcelin veneers. It'll cost you a little bit, but that is the only way anyone can have' perfect teeth'
Reply:I have to agree with Princess on the caps, Just be careful of the work the dentist does, so that you don't have problems in the future that may end up worse than you could imagine. I understand completely about the "perfect smile" BUT...more people will admire you for Why, you smile, than, How you smile.. .Think about it :), Good Luck!
Reply:O boy, I know exactly what you mean and how it feels. Take the advise of your dentist. Do not get them pulled. You might now have your permanent canine under your primary canine, and that's fine, it happens sometimes. Don't worry about the height of your canine, it's better than having no tooth at all. If you get the canine pulled, that permanent canine will definately come in a twist and rotated, and it takes a longer time to come it. If you decide to get it pulled, you can do that too. After you get it pulled, you can get something called dental implants. They are fake teeth that are held up by a post that's screwed into your bone. It's perfectly safe and assured. They can make the implant look just like the rest of your teeth. Plesae consult you dentist first, to see his view on the dental implants. Good luck!!!
