Is it normal for a Jack russel to lose 4-6 teeth including canines within a week?

She's about 5 months old and teeth are fallin fast... Is that normal?

Yes, this is the right time for her adult teeth to be coming in.
Reply:Yes, that's fine. All dogs puppy teeth fall out at different times. Don't worry his adult teeth are right behind. Take care;^)
Reply:Sounds about right. Adult teeth should be coming along soon.
Reply:Ive had a lot of pups and have never noticed the teeth change thing. (obviously it happens but I have never seen the teeth or noticed it like ur suggesting)

It may be normal but why not call your vet and ask for advice just to be sure? It would take maybe 2 mins and then you would know for certain. Even just google it!
Reply:Very normal, but I am surprised that you can see them. Usually they swallow them and you never see them.
Reply:Yes, she is now teething. Teething can be a sore business. Watch out for her chewing - she really, really needs to do it, so if you don't give her give things to chew, she will find things herself. Apart from puppy teething toys and bones, you could try giving her a carrot that has been chilled in the fridge. Seems to help cool their poor hot gums a little. Be patient with her, because she will have toothache for much of the time. Good luck :)
Reply:Don't be alarmed...this is the approximate age that your puppy's permanent teeth are erupting. The incisors, canines, premolars and molars will all start to come in between 4-7 months of age, therefore all those baby teeth will be pushed out. How they fall out and when really depends on your puppy's chewing habits.
