My dog has great clean teeth in general. One of his canine teeth has become transluent almost splotchy with a purpleish color. All the others are normal color. This one even has a couple normal colored white spots on it. What is this a sign of? How do I keep this tooth healthy? The dog gets annual teeth cleanings at the vet and I brush them as well. There is no pain associated with this tooth. The gums are not receeding or inflamed. The dog is a 9year old black lab mix.
What to do to keep the tooth?
Why do dogs get translucent teeth?
