Impacted canine tooth?

i have extracted my non-permanent canine will i need braces to put it in its original place and can i use invisalign or do i have to have metal braces?

Impacted canine tooth?
I don%26#039;t think what your talking about is impacted. Impacted means it is below the gumline and in the bone covered over by bone. If your permanet canine isn%26#039;t in line with the others, you%26#039;ll most likely have to have metal braces to slowly pull the tooth in place. Invisalign is usually for minor cases, however, technology hase come a long way. Best thing to do is get an ortho refferral by your dentis and discuss the best rout with the orthodontist.
Reply:You have asked a good question here. Regrettably you brought it to a location on the Internet where good people could unintentionally give you bad counsel, even as I have done, here on Yahoo Answers. Your question is more important than that and you should seek a more qualified assessment than you might find here.

There are some places on the Internet you can type keywords in to find web sites with a world of information that can help. Some are http://search.yahoo.com , http://google.com , and http://Ask.com just to name a few. There are other search engines on the Internet that are highly specialized in the kind of help you seek such as http://www.webmd.com/.

You should talk to your dentist.

Good luck in your endeavors and I hope you find the answers you seek.

Jon
Reply:According to my orthodontist, simple procedures can be done with invisalign, and anything complicated, you have to use regular braces, be they metal or clear.
