Is my dog supposed to lose her canine tooth?

because i just noticed tht my dog is missing one of her canine teeth

Is my dog supposed to lose her canine tooth?
If your dog is an adult, she should have both of her canine teeth. Dogs often fail to develop all of their teeth. Did she have it before or has it not grown? It may be impacted and perhaps it will not bother her. Next time you are at the vets, ask him to look at it.
Reply:When they%26#039;re puppies they lose all their baby teeth but if she%26#039;s an adult she shouldn%26#039;t be losing her teeth.
Reply:No, not if she%26#039;s past her teething stage. She may have advance gingivitis and will need her teeth cleaned professionally before she loses any more.

Reply:like human babies puppies loose there baby teeth and my adult german sheperd lost half of his canine teeth (he chiped them in half from chewing on rocks) and we took him to the vet and they said that he was find if it was not hurting him
