My Bio is a bit rusty but:
An animal is an multi-celled organism that ingests its food rather than making it through photosynthesis or however Fungi do it.
Why are we humans called animals we do not have canine teeth,fangs,scales,feather,or fur?
We have canine teeth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canine_toot... and we%26#039;ve got hair, which is like fur :P
And we evolved from animals, so we%26#039;re animals too.
That said, I would love to have a tail.
