Removing Canine tooth(eyetooth)?

well I have this canine tooth that sticks out like vampire teeth. I plan to get it removed cause all my other teeth are straight. And i don%26#039;t use it to chew or anything because it sticks out. It can hurt my upper lip if i%26#039;m not careful. So what%26#039;s your opinion on removing this canine tooth ?? Will it sag my face if i pull it out?? and Can it really affect your sight or eyes??

They might not recommend having it pulled esp if it%26#039;s a healthy tooth. Removing it might cause some of the teeth to shift or change your bite. I had the same thing and my dentist smoothed it out. Another option is braces or veneers. There%26#039;s a lot of alternatives. It%26#039;s best to see your dentist to discuss all the options. Good luck! =)
Reply:The problem with having a tooth extracted is that it leaves no resting place for other teeth which can lead to problems. It can also cause the teeth beside it to go inwards some point down the line.

Have a discussion with your dentist about it to talk about all of your options.
Reply:I do not recommend pulling teeth unless absoltely necessary. For malalligned teeth, why not try braces? There are a lot of esthetic options these days, and can be very simple. No, it will not effect your eyesight if you do decide to get them extracted. Maybe consult with an orthodontist first.
