Scared of getting teeth pulled?

im 14, im getting 2 teeth pulled out on the top of my mouth (ones behind my canine teeth) and ive never even had like a cavity before





whats the process?


how much does it hurt?





please help with any tips for getting my act in gear to do this! thank you sooo much

well, i have one pulled behind my canine. and it was because the root was too long, so it would have never like fallen out!





but, once they have you on like the numbing medication, you dont really feel it. it just seems scary because you can hear everything they are doing. ask if you can listen to your ipod though!





but afterwards, you will most likely have a huge hole that you will be tempted to stick your tongue in. and its going to bleed. but just put cottonballs in there, or follow your dentists instructions.





its not that bad!


i had it done when i was 10, and at the time i didnt think it was TOO scary.





oh, and im not quite sure of the process. but i know it starts with some sort of anesthesia and ends with your tooth pulled!

Reply:I had two teeth pulled about about 2 years ago. The injections (to numb your mouth, usually two or three of them) hurt abit but are soon over, if you focus on something in the room they tend to hurt a lot less.


Then you can%26#039;t feel the tooth being pulled at all.


Its funny afterwards when you try and take a drink and you%26#039;re mouth is all numb =p





Try not to worry about it, i doubt it%26#039;ll be as worse as you think!
Reply:I had one of my top teeth behind the canine removed and it didn%26#039;t hurt. You get nerve gas and your numbed up. The only thing that was weird about that is that I heard them breaking the tooth as they were trying to pull it out. I didn%26#039;t feel anything I just heard it. You%26#039;ll be fine though I promise. Just ask them if you can listen to music in some headphones while it%26#039;s being done.
Reply:well see when i was 8 i had four teeth pulled out and they put me to sleep they wont do it to you though but they will i think put you to sleep then pull it out but if they dont it wont hurt cause i have two teeth that need pulling plus a cap on my back tooth and one of my teeth is split so dont worry it will be alright i promise
Reply:it doesnt reli hurt i had 1 pulled bout a month ago was totally freakin out but it woznt so bad.. take ur ipod/mp3 in and listen 2 it, it reli helps
