Is it unusual that my son is getting all four of his front top teeth at the same time?

He's had the two front on the bottom since he was four months old, now he's seven ½ months and he's getting all four front top teeth at the same time. The canines started coming in first, and then the two in the middle. :/ Is this a usual thing, or is my son just a little weirdo. :P jk

My son did the same thing. He got the bottom 2 first and now the top 4. He kind of looks like Chucky now.
Reply:well, the canines are not in the first 4. They are the third in on either side, not the second, so he is not getting these right now. But no, it's not uncommon for all 4 to come in at once.
Reply:You weren't dating Dracula when you conceived, were you? Seriously, it isn't a problem. It is a bit unusual, but not problematic.

OK, why did I get a thumbs down? The joke, while it was stupid was not the answer. The answer I did provide with accurate. Why do I keep getting thumbs down for accurate answers?
Reply:Not at all, some babies are born with teeth. Every baby is different so dont panic! As a mom we always panic, remember keep baby tylenol handy, pedi-lite, apple juice, banana, and even toast is good for when a baby is teething.

Good Luck!

Reply:My son would get about 4 at a top on the top and bottom, same with both his cousins, so it sounds normal to me!
Reply:Genetics. The only tooth-growing logic that teeth follow is genetic. If Grandpa Mickey had all four of his top teeth grow in at the same time, then your baby might as well. The same goes for babies that grow just one tooth at the bottom--the poor dears. The teeth just all grow in like genetics tells them to.

Reply:It's a little unusual, but not unheard of. The order and timing of teeth varies so greatly from child to child it's crazy! My son is 16 months old and has 15 teeth already, and we know a little girl the same age with only two teeth! They'll all come in sooner or later (usually), so it's not really something to worry about. I put a few links below if you are interested in more about teething and tooth order.
