Full quote is: "Dog sir?" "Uh,not now" "You can enjoy a good dog every once in a while sir. You can have a 3 course meal from one dog. Start with your Canine Coup d'etat go to your Fido plum bake blancmange. For desert a Pekinese par bake and you can pick your teeth with a little paw"


I cant find this in the dictionaries of quotations. Can anyone help with this and give me a reference please?

I believe the "dog, sir?" quote is from The merchant of Venice. I can't be 100% sure without scanning the play again, but I believe it is Shylock speaking to someone in the courtroom. Try that play before you go to far elsewhere.
