6 months ago his teeth were visible, and he is missing the two bottom canines. Will they grow back? He also has a slightly twisted jaw. I believe both were probably caused by bashing against the glass. (He was quite violent but no longer bashes at the glass yet still no teeth!) Any help is appreciated!
2yr old 10" Dovii (Wolf Cichlid) and his teeth have not be visible for six months. Will they grow back???
its hard to tell it depends on how serious the injury is.
as long as the rest of it is healthy and it is active and swimming around its should be fine.
It really doesnt need teeth unless it is in the wild for hunting.
as long as it is eating well you really shouldnt worry about it.
I know its hard to leave a fish alone when it is injured but that is all you can do really. Helping it may make the injury worse or do nothing at all.
