What do you do for a decayed canine tooth?

Call your vet, make an appointment for an extraction. Might as well have the rest of the teeth cleaned while you are at it.

What do you do for a decayed canine tooth?
Go to the dentist.
Reply:You go to the vet, part with several hundred

dollars, and keep on loving your dog!
Reply:depends how far the decay is and how much of the tooth is left after decay removal
Reply:Throw it away already! No need to keep something that long to remind you of your pet.

lol

OH! Still in the dog's mouth??? Take doggie to vet or pets dentist.

Is it yours? Go to a dentist.
Reply:Go to the vet and have it pulled.
Reply:The vet's can pull it-it's not that expensive and it would make your dog feel better in the end! We did it for our kitty cat and she looks at me and I swear she was like "thank you mommy!"
Reply:Is the do on wet or dry food? well you go to the vet and show him and they can clean them or will give you a plan to stop the decaying tooth.
Reply:Go to dentist hope you can get a root canal to save if not a crown or implant or partial denture
Reply:go to the dentist so they can fix it
Reply:About the only thing you can do is take him to the vet. They can put him under anesthesia and check and clean his teeth, and if the tooth is bad, they will remove it. Have it done, because you know how bad a tooth ache is. Don't let him suffer needlessly.
Reply:have the vet extract it...has to be under ...and if not done like humans it will get worse and painful and can become absessed and get an infection up in the brain and die from it..humans too
