Totally normal, and yes had the same thing. Anyone who has had braces will have experienced the same thing. Tends to be very sensitive and painful for the first few days. Give it a few more days, it'll go away. In the mean time, try to stick to soft foods (or at least foods that require little or no chewing), keep hydrated (your mouth stands no chance if you are dehydrated), use the wax to help sores and dose up on painkillers.
Reply:took me like a week to eat hard food after my braces, i wouldnt worry, mine hurt for AGES, they are the torture technique of the 21st century
Reply:Had braces.

Your teeth will feel very sensitive. Especially if you had spacers put in for a week prior to the braces being put in. I got really sick the day I had my braces put on. It actually gave me a fever. The braces were so tight and hurt. My mouth was hurting for a few days. I was very sore. I couldnt eat anything but soft stuff like Mashed potatoes and soup.

My coworkers got braces like 3 mos ago. I warned her and she ended calling out the day she got her braces. It got her down too.

Summary: this is a normal experience.
Reply:Its actually probably a bracket that's hitting your tooth. Your ortho will move stuff around (causing other various problems) until most of your teeth have been filed down. Your teeth are going to be moving around a bunch, so just tough it out. Good luck
