What can one do if they lost their canine tooth and the bone in the area is not sufficient for either an?
There is almost no situation that I can think of where there would not sufficient bone for a conventional bridge. Unless you mean the bone on the remaining adjacent teeth is in bad condition... THAT's a problem! If that's what you mean, it may be time to start talking about a "transitional partial denture" made all of acrylic.





Dr. Tom is right, though. If you have that much information, someone who has actually seen your mouth also is in the best position to give you treatment advice.

Reply:A bone graft (surgically place bone in that area) would do the trick, then you can have the option to choose either treatment you want. Of course you will need to see a specialist though.
Reply:If you have already been told that the bone is insufficient, then you surely must have also been told what your treatment options are.
